Info
(Halifax, NS) – ESP Productions, producer of the annual Ha!ifax Comedy Festival, brings festival stand-out comic Greg Proops back to Halifax for his own show at Casino Nova Scotia on Sunday, November 7 at 8pm.
Best known for his unpredictable appearances on the TV hit “Whose Line is it Anyway?”, an improvised comedy show on ABC hosted by Drew Carey, Proops is a regular on the long running British version of the show of the same name. He is also a frequent guest on “Late Show with Craig Ferguson”, “Chelsea Later on E!” and on “Red Eye” with Greg Gutfeld on Fox News Channel.
Hailing from San Francisco and now living in Hollywood with his wife and pet ocelot called Lady Gaga, Proops has just released a new stand up comedy CD called Proops Digs In.
Currently shooting his second season on the hit Nickelodeon comedy series “True Jackson VP, he also can be heard as the voice of Bob the Builder on the popular children’s series seen on PBS. Proops hosted the game show “Head Games” on the Science Channel, produced by Whoopi Goldberg and provides the announcer voice, Hank Buckshot Holmes for the mad new game Mad World for Wii.
"Sharp dressed and even sharper witted." - LA Times
“Proops has a fun, ranty, self-deprecating, flamboyant, quick comedy style with depth, range, and most importantly, great jokes.” – San Francisco Weekly
