Performers are donating their time and talent so that funds raised go to the non-profit Akoma Centre, which provides emergency 24/7 residential care, art & music therapy, dog therapy and recreational therapy for Nova Scotian siblings of all races, religions and some with special needs- from infants to teenagers so siblings can remain together.
"When Akoma called asking if I would perform at the Feel the Love fundraiser, I said 'Absolutely!'” said Dutch Robinson, a multi-award winning singer/songwriter and member of the R&B Hall of Fame who will be travelling from his new home in Vancouver for the concert. “It's a great cause – an important cause. And what a fantastic line-up of musicians. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone February 11th in Halifax!”
