Halifax, NS – Concert promoter Harold MacKay announced today that the July 23rd, Friday night concert has been cancelled.
“Regrettably we are announcing today that the Friday July 23rd portion of our two day festival has been cancelled. This announcement does not affect the Saturday July 24th show and anyone who has purchased tickets for the July 23rd concert can be fully reimbursed through Ticket Atlantic up until the date of the scheduled concert.” said Harold MacKay, President of Power Promotional Events Inc.
“We truly regret that fans of these artists will not get to see them this year and also we apologize for the disruption and inconvenience this may cause. We hope fans will choose to keep supporting our ongoing efforts to make Halifax a destination for all International artists. “added Mr. Mackay.
Fans will have the option of using their tickets to attend the 24th show or they can access their refunds by contacting the Ticket Atlantic Box Office at the Halifax Metro Centre by phone at 902-451-1221 or for further information on line at www.ticketatlantic.com. Please note that VIP ticket holders must make an actual ticket exchange to get a new assigned seat for the 24th show.

Halifax, NS – Concert promoter Harold MacKay announced today that Six-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum artists The Black Eyed Peas will headline the “Halifax Rocks 2010” event to be held on the Halifax Common on July 24, 2010. This stop is part of the North American leg of “The E.N.D. World Tour 2010,” presented by BlackBerry and Bacardi, the Official Spirit of “The E.N.D. Tour”.
“We are here today to announce that we will host another huge outdoor concert this year on the Halifax Common. Halifax Rocks 2010 will be a two day festival being held on July 23rd and 24th on the Common and today we are here to announce the July 24th show. We are extremely excited to announce that we have secured the best selling hip-hop rock group in music today to headline our event, The Black Eyed Peas.
