HOCKEY HALL OF FAMERS TROTTIER & SMITH PLUS LEGENDARY HOCKEY HEROES FLEURY, ACTON, LEEMAN, MIDDLETON, MAROIS, GINGRAS, BOSCHMAN, MUNI & GALLANT WILL JOIN THE HALIFAX REGIONAL POLICE MAPP HOCKEY TEAM TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY!
Halifax, NS - The Legendary Hockey Heroes will be coming to Halifax for the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge taking place 7:00 pm, Monday, February 6, 2012, at the Halifax Metro Centre.
Hockey Hall of Famers’ Bryan Trottier and Billy Smith will join Legendary Hockey Heroes Theoren Fleury, Keith Acton, Gary Leeman, Rick Middleton, Daniel Marois, Gaston Gingras, Laurie Boschman Craig Muni, Gordie Gallant and Rob Sneath from the Canadian Forces Base
to play the Halifax Regional Police Hockey Team. Referee Ron Hoggarth will add to the competitive spirit, fun and antics of the game.
The Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge is designed to give fans and players alike an opportunity to celebrate a common joy of the game while at the same time giving much needed funds to worthy organizations. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will go to the Nova Scotia Hearing & Speech Foundation Sound Start Program.
Skaters from the Halifax Skating Club will perform, the Call to Recycle Tykes, Laser Shows, giveaways and more will add to this exciting event. Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge total family entertainment that appears in 38 cities from coast to coast in Canada.
