Heroes Hockey Challenge Games Postponed
Vancouver, Feb 7-2012 - Heroes Hockey Challenge announced the postponement of benefit hockey games originally scheduled in Halifax, Québec and Toronto.
"Following our successful events in Vancouver and Calgary, we recognized we needed more time to plan games in the other cities," said event organizer Richard Brodeur.
The remaining hockey games, featuring NHL legends playing Canadian Forces all-star teams, were originally scheduled for February and March.
"Our sponsors, supporters, volunteers and NHL alumni players have all pledged their continued support for our cause," Brodeur said.
On January 26th, more than 4,000 fans watched the Calgary Flames alumni defeat the Canadian Forces all-stars 10-6 in a spirited hockey game. Gala fundraising dinners in Calgary and Vancouver were sold out.
Tickets purchased online or by telephone will be refunded automatically
while tickets purchased in person must be returned to the Ticket Atlantic box office for a full refund.
